We are excited to announce that Halton MakeFest will be returning for 2023! Join us on Saturday March 25th at Widnes Library for a day filled with fun, creativity, and learning.

For those who don’t know, Halton MakeFest is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates all things DIY, creative and “makery”. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced maker, there is something for everyone at Halton MakeFest and we can’t wait to show you what this year’s festival has in store. From robotics and coding to woodworking and crafting, you’ll be sure to find a wide range of hands-on activities and workshops to participate in.

We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s event at Widnes Library, a vibrant and welcoming community space in the heart of Widnes, Halton. The library is easily accessible by car, bus, or train, and there is free parking available around the site.

We are also excited to launch the new Halton MakeFest 2023 website design! Take a look around and enjoy some of the fun activities that are already online or maybe take a look at previous Halton MakeFest’s from yesteryear. Make sure to keep checking out the website for more information on the main event, our makers and our FREE taster sessions too.

Mark your calendars and join us on March 25th for a day of discovery and creativity at Halton MakeFest! We can’t wait to see you there.

(Free) Tickets will be available soon.

Wondering what a MakeFest is?

A MakeFest is dedicated to all things “makey”. They’re designed to bring together local artists and creative types and give them a platform to show off their work and engage with the community.

There’s no better way to explain what a MakeFest is than by showing you…
