You could be forgiven for thinking that Halton MakeFest 2021 might not be going ahead in light of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Well, we’re not going to lie, it’s been a challenge, but with lots of hard work and planning from the people at Mako Create and Halton Libraries, we’ve been able to devise a way to deliver Halton MakeFest 2021 in a safe and engaging way. Next year’s MakeFest which will once again see Halton Lea Library bursting with creative makers from Halton and beyond.

It’s going to be different, there’s no escaping that fact.Β To sum it up: think “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” meets “Speed dating” meets an “Amazon Warehouse”. Confused? It’s actually kind of simple…

If you’re wondering “How?!” then wonder no more – head over to our Makers pageΒ to get the lowdown on how our makers will be delivering a socially distance MakeFest for Halton in 2021.
