With experienced creative writing tutor Wayne Cookson, The Studio Writes will focus on helping you to access the writer in you!
Using a series of exercises and exploring tips to get started Wayne will focus on how you can unlock your creativity.
Through sharing examples of The Studio writers who have gone on to self publish fiction and poetry, he will aim to take away the fear and feeling writing isnβt for you.Β
Wayne leads both The Studio Writes Adults and Kids and supports The Studio Reads book club.
Equipment You Will Need
- Always good to have a pen and paper! Or tablet, phone for notes.
Who Can Take Part?
All ages welcome, whether still studying English at school or blanking out the memory of it!
About the Maker
The Studio Writes is part of The Studio programme of arts and cultural activity funded by Reaching Communities, (The National lottery Community Fund)
This is a 3 year project aimed at removing barriers to the arts and culture for the community of Halton.
The Studio is run by the charity LOOSE and is committed to enabling people of all ages to have arts activities and events in a friendly accessible community led venue.
